The Beavercreek Cross Country Varsity and Reserve teams ran this weekend at the Troy Invitational. The boys finished 3rd and the girl's 4th.  The boys ran well  in a tight pack despite less than desirable course conditions and had 7 boys in the top 33 in the race to place third. The boys were led by Nate Spears 16:55, 7th overall, Chris Rogers 20th 18:06, Ben Leininger 22nd 18:07, Bryan Petry 25th 18:10, Scott Szaljeko 29th 18:15, Dave Speaker 30th 18:16, and John Petry 33rd 18:33 for Beavercreek Varsity.

The girl's Varsity finished 4th led by Jessica Olnhausen 5th overall 19:38, Jenny Wisniewski 12th  20:28, Audrey Holbrook 22nd  21:11, Melinda Lim 36th 21:42, Randall Williams 40th 21:55, Erin Code  41st 21:57, Bridget Hatfield 54th 23:26 to round out the girl's varsity.    

 

In the JV boys open race the Beavers were led by Travis Johnson, followed by Collin Gossel, Zach Niezgodski, Patrick Taylor, Stuart Hay, Andy Huffman, and Neil Diesslin; the top 7 for the Beavers finishing 2nd as a team.    

The girl's JV open race was led by Amanda Novak,  Erin Oetting,  Rosie Haney,  Mikela Ruef,  Emily Eklund,  Katie Speaker, and Megan Phelps as the girl's finished 2nd in the race.
