Beavercreek teams ran at
Centerville this past weekend, the boys finished 7th overall and girl's
finished 11th.
Despite blazing hot
temperatures the Varsity finished just behind Vandalia Butler and ahead of
Sycamore and Anderson as the State's top teams competed here this weekend.
The boys were led on
varsity by Nate Spears followed by Dave Speaker, Zach Niezgodski, Travis
Johnson, Bryan Petry, Scott Szalejko, John Petry, Patrick Taylor, and
Collin Gossel. Stuart Hay ran his first Varsity race and finished sixth.
The girl's Varsity was
led by Jessika Olnhausen followed by Jenny Wisiniewski, Erin Code, Audrey
Holbrook, Bridget Hatfield, Melinda Lim, Randall Williams, Allison Beasley,
Amanda Novak, and Rosie Haney to round out the Varsity team.
The boys averaged 17:23
as a team and the girl's averaged 21:35 as a team.
Next is GWOC, one of the
toughest conference races in the State, at Springboro Saturday October 13th
at Patrick Allyn Park.
