Beavercreek Varsity Cross Country teams finished well in the Central Division of the Greater Western Ohio Conference, one of the top conferences in the State. The boy's took 3rd place and for the third consecutive year the Girl's were 1st in the division.

      Nate Spears led the Beavers for the boys also capturing 1st team all GWOC running16:19, Bryan Petry ran a personal best 17:19 capturing 2nd team all GWOC honors , David Speaker ran a personal best 17:40 Scott Szalejko 17:44 personal best, Chris Rogers 17:47, Ben Leininger 17:49, Patrick Taylor personal best 17:50, John Petry ran 17:54, Zach Niezgodski 17:56, Stuart Hay, 18:06 and Travis Johnson 18:19, as top runners for Beavercreek.

     The girls were once again led by Jessica Olnhausen 19:09, earning first team all GWOC as were Audrey Holbrook 19:49 and Jenny Wisniewski 19:53. Randall Williams captured 2nd team all GWOC as a freshmen with a 20:03. Erin Code ran 20:41, Melinda Lim 20:48, Allison Beasley 21:34, Bridget Hatfield 21:46, Mikaela Ruef 23:00, Amanda Novak 23:35 to round out the Varsity for the Beavers.

    From the coaches corner, Jack Holliday won Coach of the Year for the GWOC Girls Central Division.

    Next week the Vasity teams run in the District meet at Northmont for the chance to run in the Regionals.
