Booster News - Beavercreek Athletic Boosters voted in officers for the 2008-2009 year.  Congratulations President Ken Barr, Vice President Mary Rice, Secretary Pame Fruhwirth, Treasurer Kevin Hibbert.  Outgoing Treasurer Scott Siglar was honored for his 10 years of service to the Booster organization.

4/6/2008   Beavercreek Bowlers excelled at the Junior-Senior State Scholarship Tournament.  Kathryn Cox won the girls division while Emily Figer finished 5th.  Kyle Looney took 3rd place in the boys division.  There were 189 participants.

   Basketball  2007-08 AWARDS:   Beavercreek Basketball teams once again gave their fans lots to cheer about.  The girls team won the GWOC Central with a perfect 10-0 and finished the season 22-2.  They won  sectionals and finished District Runner-up. The JVs finished 16-4 and the Freshmen girls finished 11-8 and 5th in their post season tournament.  The boys team played every game with great enthusiasm and determination.  they finished 3rd in GWOC Central and had an overall 12-11 record, closing out their season in sectionals. The boys JV season record was 11-9, Sophomores 3-11. Freshmen team records:  Black 10-10 and Orange 6-14.

The Beavercreek Sox Baseball Organization is sponsoring its 7th Annual Monte Carlo Night fundraiser on Saturday,
April 26th from 6:00 pm toMidnight at the Beavercreek VFW, 2389 Dayton Xenia Rd. (adjacent to Rotary Park). 
Pre-sale tickets are $10.00 or $12.00 at the door. 
Free hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, side dishes, chips, pop and beer will be provided.  Games will include Showdown, Chuck-a-luck, Blackjack, and Texas Holdem. Anyone interested in tickets can contact purchase them from any Sox player, or

Apr 10  softball home vs Piqua  won 2-1 with clutch runs in the sixth inning despite 5 errors.  Winning pitcher Suzanne Witt is now 2-2.  extra bas hits: Kay Michel had two doubles, Lauren Meyers a triple and Carly Ivan a double.

 
Apr 10  baseball home vs Piqua  won 9-1  The Beavers scored in all but one inning, winning pitcher was Brandon Ward.

Apr  9   baseball home vs Xenia  won 7-1  Beavers overpowered the Buccaneers in the first three innings and finished the game with 9 hits.  winning pitcher: Tyler Fruhwirth with 10 strikeouts

 
Apr  9   softball home vs Xenia  won 17-7  After a slow start Beaver bates were ablaze in this 5 inning contest.

 
Apr  9   volleyball home vs C-J   lost 22-25,19-25,18-25  Chas Newhouse had 10 digs, Karl Grosselin 17 assists and Jon Miner 20 kills.  Prior to this game Beavercreek was ranked 3rd in this region, CJ was 6th

Apr  8   baseball at Bellbrook  won 3-1 in 8 innings.  Beavers finally got on the scoreboard in the seventh inning.  Matt Suber contributed a double and Chris Davis was the winning pitcher.
