2007-08 AWARDS:
Beavercreek
girls Gymnastics completed a successful season with two
athletes
competing at State this year. The
team won at Miamisburg, were 3rd at Mason,
4th at
Cincinnati Anderson and 5th at Lakota East. Megan Gill
and Kelsey Zimmerman [pictured right] qualified for State as
individuals with Kelsey finishing 8th on vault and all-around.

The Beavercreek
Sox Baseball Organization is
sponsoring its 7th Annual Monte Carlo Night fundraiser on Saturday,
April 26th from 6:00 pm toMidnight at the Beavercreek VFW, 2389
Dayton Xenia Rd. (adjacent to Rotary Park).
Pre-sale tickets are
$10.00 or $12.00 at the door.
Free hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage
sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, side dishes, chips, pop and beer
will be provided. Games will include Showdown, Chuck-a-luck,
Blackjack, and Texas Holdem. Anyone interested in tickets can
contact purchase them from any Sox player, or

baseball home vs Sidney won 5-4
with 11 hits. Brandon Ward was the
winning pitcher.
Apr 16 volleyball at
Middletown Fenwick won 25-19, 25-20, 22-25, 25-22

at Lima Shawnee won 3-2 with
singles wins Tony Walters (6-2,6-2), alex Wang (6-2,6-2) and second
doubles win Aaron Merten and Alec Zucker (2-6, 6-3,7-6 [14-12
tiebreaker])
Apr 16 softball home vs
Sidney lost 9-8 Sidney scored in
each of the first six innings. Creek made a valiant comeback
with five sixth inning runs but fell short with a three run seventh.
Carly Ivan (2) and Ashley Skinner doubled. The Beavers' 8 hits
were offset by five errors.

softball at Fairborn lost 3-2
Carly Ivan doubled for one of Creek's 3 hits.
Apr 15 baseball at Lebanon lost 12-2 Brandon
Ward doubled and Tyler Fruhwirth hit a homerun for the Beavers' only
hits with five errors on defense.
Apr 15 volleyball at Lasalle won 25-18, 16-25,
25-12, 25-23 Back in the win column,
the Beavers were led by Karl Grosselin with 21 assists and 15 kills,
Jon Miner 17 assists and 14 kills, Chas Newhouse 13 digs and Neil
Diesslin with 6 kills.

baseball at Fairborn lost 5-4
Beavers took the early lead, fell behind by
one in the fifth and retook the lead in the seventh inning with
three runs but couldn't hold back the Skyhawks in the bottom of the
seventh. Beavercreek showered 10 hits including a double by
Matt Suber but also contributed 4 errors.

at Lebanon won 5-0 singles: Tony
Walters (6-1,6-0), George Clem (3-6,6-3,6-3), Michael Fu
(2-6,6-4,6-1) doubles Skylar Swall/ Sudi Mullapudi and Alec
