nov 2007 ...cross country alumni - This past weekend Nik Schweikert along with his Malone team won the NAIA national championships.  Their team won every race they ran this season for the first time in the school history.  Nik was awarded NAIA ALL- American (given to the top 30 runners) and NAIA scholar athlete.  He finished 12th out of  258 college runners from all over the country, with a 9th place finish  for team scoring.  Malone cross country has not won a national championship in 35 years. dec 2007 ... Kelli Blumenschein (BHS '07), freshmen defender on the UD soccer team, was named to All Great Lakes Regional Team by Soccer Buzz Magazine <story> 
nov 2007 ...  Kelli Blumenschein (BHS '07) has been named to the A-10 all-Rookie team (University of Dayton Women's soccer).   <story>
nov 2007 ...alumni All-Conference  - Katie Skaleski (BHS '07) earned All Ohio Athletic Conference Special Mention in her first year on the Wilmington College Women's Soccer Team.<story>

Alumni Soccer update ...   News from the September 29-30 weekend:
Kristen Arnold (IU) scored 5 goals - hat trick vs Northwestern Friday 28th and 2 goals Sunday 30 vs Wisconsin  ...  Katie Skaleski (Wilmington) scored her 3rd goal of the season vs Capital ... Kelly Blumenschein (UD) and Robin Reynolds (Tennesse Tech <link>)  both scored their 2nd goals ...
